Update

I didn't want to put this all over facebook, so I decided to put it up on my blog. 


I have a teaching interview for a third grade position in exactly 2 weeks. I am so excited and I can't stop thinking about it. Aside from a 45 minute interview with the principal and a school board member, I then have to teach a 30 minute language arts lesson to a 3/4 class. I keep thinking about great lesson plans that I want to teach but I think I have settled on a poetry lesson! They are reading The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe :) I love that book but I haven't read it in a long time. I am going to teach them about Bio-Poems or Haiku Poems. Either way, we can brainstorm topics to write these poems on (I can hint at writing it about the story they are reading). I am very excited!!!


So hopefully, I can get this job. It is a third grade position...have I mentioned how much I love upper elementary?? Wish me luck!

Saturday Night

So, it is Saturday Night and I am blog stalking. I have downloaded so many more things this weekend! I still have almost 100 things in my wish list on TPT that I just haven't downloaded yet. EEKK!! I can't wait to have a classroom of my own where I am able to teach all of these wonderful things.

On that note, I hope to be able to blog about my classroom and what we are doing, when I get one!

This week we are moving centers at school, with my pulled muscle, this may be hard so with me luck! I am looking forward to this week though because I am hoping to receive some phone calls about teaching interviews :) Again, wish me luck!
