8 more weeks!

Baby Landon is due in just 8 short weeks. Which means I have 7 weeks of work left before I am off :)

In good news...those idiot tenants moved out of my aunts house so we are going there tonight to throw out any remaining trash and clean it :) Hopefully the boys move a lot of our stuff in tomorrow so that we can start staying there as of maybe Wednesday! I can not wait to move. Gizzy will like it so much more because she can actually sit outside in the porch with me. Plus she can go upstairs where it is quiet...I know she misses the quietness of our Northfield house.

I cant wait to go through and put my teaching stuff back on the shelves where I can actually use it!

Anyways...we will be putting the crib up this weekend and getting his room ready to go just in case he decides to come a bit earlier. :)

Almost 31 weeks

Almost 31 weeks. One week from starting my 8th month of pregnancy. This is truly going by so fast! I cant believe that in about 9 weeks (could be less) Landon will be here! Ross picked up the crib that my mom bought yesterday. It is pretty perfect and I cant wait to get it all set up!

Preparing for Landon by talking to friends and family and also signed up for some classes and a tour with Hillcrest. Lamaze, CPR, night with anesthesiologist and pediatrician and then a breastfeeding class. Talked to my mom a bit about the actual labor and pain. Still pretty scary!! I am just hoping for a quick and healthy delivery!

I'm so glad that we received good news about being able to move shortly after Feb 11. Feels like life is almost back on track. Been going through a bit of a rough patch with ross being at a standstill with work. It sucks but it should be over very soon. Then we can pay some people back and get the last couple of bills on track. If it wasnt for an unforseen event happening last week with someone we trusted, we would have already been on track. But oh well...we will get out of this mess soon enough!

So all in all life is going pretty well. Still have some great people by our side helping us through.

Update

Ross pointed out that I have not blogged since before the wedding, because my name still says Ms. Kim...I should figure out how to change that!

So much is going on in my life right now, that I can't even sort it all out. Between being almost 30 weeks (almost 8 months! EEKKK!) pregnant, juggling the married life and dealing with my crazy work life, I just don't even know what to do anymore! But I am glad that I have my crazy loving husband by my side through everything. He sure takes a beating some days ;)

But now that I am getting better at juggling all of these things (and that I don't need 15 hours of sleep a night anymore) I find myself with some extra time. However, I don't know what to do with this extra time! I spend most of it watching TV or following teaching blogs. I need to find something more constructive to do with my time. Yes, I still need that relaxing time, especially after I get off of work.

But with that said, I don't know what to spend my time on. Ross wants to have a heart attack every time i download more teaching stuff onto his laptop and mine is still broken, so I have to stop with that for a little while. So what else can I do??? I love scrapbooking but I haven't been having too many scrapbook moments lately...so that won't work. So what do I do? Soon enough I will have a little one to take up my time, but I need to find something to do to occupy my time and to curb my anxiety over waiting for Landon to get here.

Any suggestions??

Interview, Wedding Updates and Life

I had my first elementary school interview today. I think that it went great! First I had an interview and then I taught a 30 minute lesson on Haiku Poems. I think that the interview went really well! And, the principal said a few times that she really liked my lesson; I don't feel it could have been much better :) So I am supposed to hear back Mid-May (which is like, next week!) So hopefully I am offered the job. and if not, I know that I am still in the running for a couple of jobs so, wish me luck!


I feel as if I am not really living up to my full potential at my current job. Everything that is done is picked at. There is no way to satisfy everyone. Either I don't take enough notes, or I am not interacting enough at work time...I can't possibly do both! I thought that I was but apparently not. I know that I am doing my best, so hopefully that is good enough. :)


Wedding:


We have officially booked the Honeymoon, Photographer and the DJ! I also have heard back from a few officiants as well! Last few things: upgrade honeymoon, decide on cake, find an officiant :) That is about it other than pay things off and other minor details. It is really coming together! We have basically 2 months! It is coming up so fast though!!! I can't wait to marry him!

Update

I didn't want to put this all over facebook, so I decided to put it up on my blog. 


I have a teaching interview for a third grade position in exactly 2 weeks. I am so excited and I can't stop thinking about it. Aside from a 45 minute interview with the principal and a school board member, I then have to teach a 30 minute language arts lesson to a 3/4 class. I keep thinking about great lesson plans that I want to teach but I think I have settled on a poetry lesson! They are reading The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe :) I love that book but I haven't read it in a long time. I am going to teach them about Bio-Poems or Haiku Poems. Either way, we can brainstorm topics to write these poems on (I can hint at writing it about the story they are reading). I am very excited!!!


So hopefully, I can get this job. It is a third grade position...have I mentioned how much I love upper elementary?? Wish me luck!
